Introducing Espira

This is breaking news for health-conscious AVON fans everywhere. They just launched a completely new product called Espira. This is a nutritional supplement designed to  cleanse your system and power up your metabolism. There's even a product in the group to curb hunger if that has been an issue. 

As taken from Avon's website Espira is explained as "A customized health and wellness line formulated with ingredients to boost and sustain your natural energy, restore your radiance and support your overall health.† Experience results you can see and feel." There's four products in the Metabolism Boost System:

Ideal Cleanse is a three day regimen to cleanse your system and boost your metabolism. They come with AM and PM capsules. The AM capsules have botanical extracts such as dandelion to help boost your body's natural cleansing process.  The PM capsules are filled with soluable fibers to help flush you out. What I love about this is that it comes with a guide to healthy eating tips. If you are doing the whole system, this would be step 1.

Step two is the Meatbolism Boost. This is a plant based capsule with geen tea and cocoa beans to help boost your metabolism.

Step three is the Hunger Block. The natural fiber in these capsules can absorb up tp 50 times its weight in water, which in turn will help you feel full. 

Finally, step four is the Plant Power Protein shakes. With one scoop in 10-12 oz of water you can create this protein shake in Chocolate and Vanilla. This is filled with ingredients such as proteins from quinoa, yellow peas and globe artichokes.

If you are interested, but unsure if you want to invest in a full size, I can order trial sizes for you at $5.00 a package. And for those that absolutely love this line, they have an auto replenish feature which will automatically send out your monthly supply.  There are some other Espira lines in the works, but since energy is something that many of us struggle with, this may be something to look into. 

However, I can't stress enough that if you have chronically low energy, you should be seen by your doctor.  My low energy was due to my underactive thyroid, so even if this was out when I was feeling that way, I'm not sure it would have helped.

Christmas Traditions

No makeup blog today. It's all holidays on my mind this week.

So, tell me. What are some of your Christmas Traditions? With the holiday coming up in just a few short days, I've already begun some of them.

First, the decorating. Every year I start the day after Thanksgiving. I didn't go all out this year and my 4 cats have ensured the Christmas Tree stays underdecorated.

Then came the Elf. I'm lucky enough to have TWO lovely elves. One for my classroom and one for home. Here are just a few pics:

This next tradition, making struffoli, is in the books as well. Struffoli is an Itallian holiday desert made of fried dough pieces dipped in honey and covered in sprinkles. We make quite a few and have several to give away as gifts.

Congrats Christmas Party Winners

Congratulations to all the winners at my AVON Christmas Party! 

Thank you to all who joined, liked, shared, commented and showed interest in my AVON Christmas party that I held on my Facebook Page December 8.  

We played a few games, discussed some make up topics, and answered some questions.  The best part of all was getting to know more about my customers and their friends. 

With games and contests, there comes winners. So without further delay here is the breakdown of the prizes won that night.
